I work in one hour increments and take a 10 minute break. It’s amazing how just 10 minutes of scheduled “break time” can boost your productivity! Knowing that I just have to work for 60 minutes and then I get a break really pushes me to get more done in the hour.

What Do You Do to Manage Your Time?

I create a daily to-do list every morning on Trello, listing items from important to not-as-important. Every Sunday, I handwrite my weekly to-dos in my planner.

Give yourself little rewards — they’re not just for children! Make it a movie or TV episode, pampering — anything that motivates you. Rewards don’t always have to be purchases, and I try not to think about food as a reward.

What Do You Do to Manage Your Time?

I use a planner and make “suggested” to-do items. Mine has tabbed boxes for each item, so I record my productivity there as well. Digital calendars are planners are all the rage right now, but physical ones work best for me, because I see and feel it all displayed. Something about writing things down really helps me remember, and physically crossing it off is an accomplishment.

At the end of every day, do a big “brain dump” of all the things you on your to do list for tomorrow. This can be business or life things, the important thing is that you write EVERYTHING down which is on your mind. Then organize the list into categories like life goals, family to do, business tasks and circle the THREE most important things you need to do first tomorrow to get one step closer to your goals!

What Do You Do to Manage Your Time?

I switch my phone onto airplane mode when I go to bed at night and don’t turn it on again until I start my work day at 10am! This minimizes distractions and let’s me do my TO DO list first!
